Chicago City

Chicago also known or the Windy City is the third largest city in terms of population in the US. The city is located in the state of Illinois. When combined with its suburbs and nine surrounding counties in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana, the greater metropolitan area is known as the Chicagoland.

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

Magnificent Mile is one of the most-famous shopping strips in the world. It has almost 500 different shops and is a must visit for shopoholics.

Sears Tower Skydeck: Get an awesome view of Chicago from the 103rd floor! This tower is 1,450 feet high and one of the tallest in the world.

Buckingham Fountain is one of the largest fountains in the world and at night is illuminated with the colours changing all the time.

Water Tower Place is another place for another great shopping experience. The Water Tower dates from 1869 and was one of the view structures to survive the Great Fire.

Navy Pier: The place for fun outing with great food and people.

Taste of Chicago is an annual July festival.

Brookfield Zoo has around 2,000 animals.

Frank Lloyd Wright Home And Studio :Wright used his home for trying out new designs. The site has been restored like it did in 1909. Spend some time indoors; tour the Wright buildings in the surrounding Oak Park neighborhood.

Morton arboretum: The Arboretum is home to 1,700 acres of spectacular gardens, plant collections and natural areas that can be viewed by car, on foot or via the open-air tram.

The Lyric Opera of Chicago, founded in 1954, performs in the Civic Opera Building and is the second-largest opera auditorium in North America, with 3,563 seats.
